St. Jerome's University's Campus Ministry welcomes you to attend our Lent 2022 events, taking place in the Notre Dame Chapel (SJ1) on campus. 
 

Pancake Tuesday

Shrove (Pancake) Tuesday takes place the day before Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent in the Christian calendar. The name derives from the practice of Anglo-Saxon Christians going into confession the day before Lent, and being "shriven" (absolved of their sins), and using up rich foods (eggs, milk, sugar) before fasting in the 40 days of Lent.

All are welcome to join us for pancakes on Tuesday!

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lent season in the Christian calendar. The 40 days of Lent that follow end on Thursday, April 14, 2022 during Holy Week, which is followed by Good Friday and Easter.
