Wellness and Student Life
At St. Jerome’s, we recognize that wellness encompasses the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of an individual. You will be able to access a number of programs and resources to support your wellness during your time here, from Monday Morning Meditations to one of the many pick-up volleyball games that happen in our gymnasium.

Need to Talk to Someone? We're Here for You!

SJU students have access to a number of supports within our community and the University of Waterloo campus! From the close-knit group of friends you will meet to the professors in your classes, we will have your back with any bumps along the road.

The Student Affairs hallway houses the Student Affairs team - we are here for you! Say hi anytime you’re passing through Sweeney Hall, we are always happy to chat, answer questions, or direct you to other supports.

Our Spirituality Centre is open to students of all faiths and beliefs and offers a quiet reflective space for your use. The link between spirituality and wellness is well documented, and we are here to help you explore life’s big questions during your time at SJU. Keep your eyes open for special events that are offered through Campus Ministry.

Students at St. Jerome’s University and across the University of Waterloo campus have access to Campus Wellness Services. There are a variety of workshops available on different mental health topics, from coping with stress to improving study skills. If group settings aren't your thing, you can always make an appointment to speak with a counsellor one-on-one.
