This presentation explores the ways in which Merton’s thought might continue to reach beyond its monastic origins to influence a comtemporary understanding of the laity in Catholicism.
Prof. Hunter Brown
Hunter Brown is an Associate Pofessor of Philosophy and Religious Studies at King’s College, University of Western Ontario. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of St. Michael’s College in Toronto and has been involved in both Merton studies and in the area of thology of the laity for many years.
