If the Church is to take the contribution of lay Catholics seriously, Sr. Kathleen Keating argues, it will have to confront squarely the issue of women's participation and leadership. Reflecting on her many years of experience as an educator, leader of religious women, and pastoral minister in a barrio in Nicaragua, Dr. Keating looks at the challenges that face the Church today. As part of this lecture series endowed by the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary (the Loretto Sisters), Sr. Keating will also deliver the same lecture at 7:30 pm on Thursday, November 15th at the Fr. Madden Hall, University of St. Michael’s College, 70 St. Joseph Street, Toronto. For more on the IBVM, see www.ibvm.org
